Three UK cereals produced by Kellogg's, Quaker and Weetabix have been found to have more glyphosate in them than is considered safe by US campaigners the Environmental Working Group. Kellogg's No Added Sugar Granola with Apricot and Pumpkin Seeds contains 312 per cent more glyphosate than the EWG's benchmark, Quaker's Oat So Simple Original Microwaveable Oats contain 290 per cent more, and Weetabix's Oatibix contains 199 per cent more. One campaigner in the US said: 'Breakfast cereals are not a place for pesticides linked to cancer'.
