Currently the Harry Potter movies have grossed $5.42 Billion dollars which is second to the Star Wars franchise which has raked in $5.49 Billion dollars from the 6 films. If projections are correct Harry Potter should move in to first place by the end of its first weekend. In Touch magazine senior editor Amy Palmer spoke with Chris Wragge on Harry Potter and some of the other great movie franchises and why they are so popular.
