The 5th BRICS Summit was held between 25th and 27th March 2013 in Durban, South Africa. This is a comprehensive report from the Indian point of view. Two crucial decisions were taken to set up a BRICS development Bank and a Contingency Reserve Arrangement. Durban is also of symbolic significance to India since Mahatma Gandhi started his struggle against white supremacy from here.
