After being acquired from the Winnipeg Jets for $1 in 1993, Kris Draper went on to play 17 seasons for the Detroit Red Wings, winning three Stanley Cups along the way. Draper's overtime winner in Game 2 of the 1998 Stanley Cup Finals helped spur his team's 4-0 series sweep. In addition, Draper is often infamously known for being on the receiving end of a blindsided check from behind via Claude Lemieux that resulted in a broken jaw, broken nose, broken cheekbone, and a concussion.
