This masterfully produced hip-hop archive by Hezakya utilizes the audio landscape of the Superman cinematic universe (specifically the dialogue of Lex Luthor and General Zod) to recontextualize the raw, unapologetic narratives of Ghostface Killah, 2Pac, and Canibus. 

Sociologically, the juxtaposition of comic-book supervillainy with 1990s hip-hop realism is a profound critique on power, capital, and survival.
​Lex Luthor represents the ultimate white-collar capitalist predator. 

In the interludes, he admits he doesn't want world destruction—he wants to "rearm the world" and keep the "threat alive" for personal financial gain. This is the exact manifestation of the military-industrial complex. 

Against this backdrop, 2Pac and Ghostface articulate the consequences of living at the very bottom of Luthor’s capitalistic food chain. 

They rap about the violent, localized drug trade, surviving police sweeps, and dodging bullets—a micro-level warfare engineered by macro-level systemic failures. 

While Luthor plays chess with global nuclear arsenals from a penthouse, these artists are forced to play chess with their lives in abandoned buildings and street corners.

​When the track shifts to General Zod forcing the President of the United States to his knees, paired with Canibus’s apocalyptic, hyper-intellectual lyricism, the dynamic changes. Zod is absolute, totalitarian authority. 

Hip-hop, inherently an anti-authoritarian art form born from marginalized communities, uses the persona of the "supervillain" not as a symbol of evil, but as a symbol of ultimate, unyielding resistance against a hypocritical state. 

In this track, the rappers align themselves with the cinematic villains because, to the system, a young, outspoken, armed Black man is the ultimate supervillain. 

This mix is a sonic manifestation of urban America rejecting the sanitized, "boy scout" heroism of Superman, recognizing that in the real world, the heroes rarely show up to save the block.
