Dr Sally Tideman from Donate Life talks with BtN about Organ Donation and why it matters. Sally also explains what organs can be donated whether adult organs can be donated to kids (and vice versa). We also found it interesting that up to 10 people can benefit from an organ donor! Donating organs could be a scary thought for some people but Dr Tideman recommends: Discover all the facts and find out all about it, decide if it's something you want to do or not and then have a talk with your family about it so they know your wishes. Across Australia in 2013 there were 391 organ donors which helped 1122 people live a better life.
