(12 Dec 2018) British Prime Minister Theresa May returned to No 10 Downing Street on Wednesday after casting her ballot in the No Confidence vote triggered by her own party. May vowed to fight for the leadership of her party and the country "with everything I've got," and spent the day holed up in the House of Commons trying to win over enough lawmakers to secure victory. The result was to be announced around 9 p.m. (2100 GMT, 4 p.m. EST).
