This 1981 single (which didn't chart) is by lawyer-turned-singer Gribbin. I will admit, this is pretty different, and it took a few listens for it to grow on me. The single has a LONG version and a SHORT version. By virtue of the warpy, skippy, and the scratchy, you folks get the SHORT version. There's not a whole lot of difference though between the two. You're getting to hear someone you probably aren't familiar with, so don't carp. Enjoy!
