When we got to our next photo angle, we got a nice surprise from a legendary railroader. Pete McLachlan meets us at a curve in Brookfield. He wasn't on the trip, and he wasn't chasing, but rather, he was going to a wedding, which in his words "should have been postponed a week". Good old Pete. He made the trip that much more interesting.
