Late in Season 22, I finally joined the Dark Side and played some Secret Paladin. Secret Paladin remains the deck to beat, and while counters exist (my Midrange Hunter deck, for example, being a very strong counter), Secret Paladin remains capable of taking games from practically anything. This Secret Paladin list includes double Sludge Belcher for more defensive capabilities as well as an Argent Protector to enable some sweet trades. In the season finale, I finished at rank 151 legend on EU with it.

This video shows gameplay against Midrange Druid (Combo Druid) on the EU server at Legend rank on the final day of season 22. There are four matches in it, high legend was full of druids at the time.
