Light gate with sensor for ball control circuit ball lifter

I have made light gate, small but good enough to sense the ball passings. Used for switching on motor, but i add second one for ball collision above the lift. It must stop the lift to prevent damage. Here i show the test how sensitive the light gate is. I can make it very sensitive or less sensitive with the adjustable resistor. The light gate uses only cheap NE555 chip and some electronic parts.
