Here's what I've been up to over the past month: CP Points West Reverse Loop wiring completed. Next up is to design and build the control panel for it. A note about choice of track height and the ergonomics when working under your layout. Electronics hub under the stairs for the CP layout now has a light to make it easier to work on. Testing hybrid colour LED strip for layout lighting. The light can range from 2700K to 6500K which makes it useful for simulating morning/midday/afternoon lighting. These strips have a CRI of 95 or greater which makes colours appear accurate. Actual sunlight is CRI 100.
