In today's video, I'm sharing a shocking and important warning from a SPAN member and a former narcissistic abuse survivor. It's all about why you should not try to get closure with the narcissist after the discard. 

HER MESSAGE TO SURVIVORS:
"This post is written for those thinking they need to have just one last meeting with their abuser for closure. I have been away from mine for about 4 months I think.
I thought I was strong enough and it would be safe to meet with him to both speak our peace. I know how bad we all want them to see our side and to try and make sense of it all. It was driving me crazy.
I told him what I know about him, that I would never go back and that I thought he was a POS.
I struck a cord, he attacked me, choking me and telling me he would never let me slip away again, and would kill me. I was fortunate enough to kick him off of me and get away.
I don't want sympathy or need responses. I should have known better.
I want you all to know better.
Closure will never come. It's just not worth it."
