So the time has come for me to cut into the loot from my community garden seed rescue project and find out what I can save!
First off, thanks to everyone for your concern and I promise I'll continue trying to contact the person last in charge of the lot so we can take a better look & perhaps rescue more seeds from different plant varieties!
Second, I have an indoor garden now! Some of my peppers have come inside & I will be setting up that indoor waterfall garden to keep them company so ... WooT! I'm very excited!
Now, looking into the seeds. The dark purple tomatoes may be 'Indigo Rose' if I recall the comment correctly but I still have NO IDEA what type that squash is. Both seem to have some very sweet aromas and flesh so I sure hope that they produce for me!
I used the same old paper towel method for these seeds that I do for just about all of the seeds I save. Seems to me that if it works, then why change it?
While I should have more self control I'm going to try planting a few of these seeds in the next few days anyway. I'll be sure to share if they do sprout!
Thanks for watching & have a great day!
