There's been a lot of footie talk in the Archive over the last couple of days as we are in the transfer window. It has reminded me of this mad football newsreel story. An Italian Club has recently acquired a transfer who needs paying more often than most - a slot machine soccer star. Key scene. Man counting out money. CU money is exchanged. MS man walks away with coin. CU player. Man puts coin into machine, player moves off and stops (2 shots). Man runs across and puts more money into machine (2 shots). MCU player empties machine and walks off. (This is a slot machine worn over the player's football jersey). You can license this story for commercial use through AP Archive - story number is: BM85692
