The Staatliches Hofbräuhaus in München (public Royal Brewery in Munich, also Hofbräu München) is a brewery in Munich, Germany, owned by the Bavarian state government. The Hof (court) comes from the brewery's history as a royal brewery in the Kingdom of Bavaria. The brewery owns the Hofbräuhaus am Platzl, the Hofbräukeller and the second largest tent at the Oktoberfest (Hofbräu-Festzelt).
La Hofbräuhaus (nome completo in tedesco: Staatliches Hofbräuhaus in München, letteralmente Birrificio Nazionale della Corte in Monaco) è la più antica e celebre birreria di Monaco di Baviera, nonché una delle sette fabbriche di birra della città.
Oggi è proprietà del governo bavarese, mentre il prefisso Hof ("corte") indica che il locale e l'annessa fabbrica furono la birreria reale del Regno di Baviera.
Il birrificio gestisce il locale nel centro di monaco, la Hofbräuhaus am Platzl, il ristorante Hofbräukeller e la seconda tenda più grande dell'Oktoberfest, la Hofbräu-Festzelt.
