Philadelphia Zoo Aardvark Back and Forth, In and Out

One of the aardvarks is walking itself to sleep. The day is just beginning for most humans, but bedtime is just beginning for the nocturnal aardvarks. The aardvarks always seem to walk back and forth and walk a little faster than usual just before going into their den to settle down for the day. So I am thinking they are trying to make themselves sleepy so they will fall asleep quickly. Of course, like a lot of things I think, that may or may not be true!
