One frosty morning in Winter, this train started up the hill, and you could follow its progress from a mile away by the immense plume of steam and smoke that signalled its passing. See it passing into the sunlight, and its exhaust sharpen as it approaches and the traffic noise dies into the background. From an old 1989 VHS tape.
