Nigeria requires about five hundred Billion naira annually for a period of over five years to effectively tackle the nation’s huge road infrastructural deficit as against about three hundred Billion naira annual budgetary allocation. How to address this and other challenges in the road sector is the focus of the on-going 18th annual National Conference of Directors of Civil Engineering.
