I was at the river last year and had some high powered magnets. I noticed they picked up a lot of black sand, or iron sand. So I spent a few hours picking it up and shaking off the regular sand, than putting it in bags. It makes for some fun projects, and I found tht if you sandwich it between two pieces of glass it makes an etcha sketch kind of table. My ultimate goal is to eventually make a high-end coffee table using this formula. We are all kids at heart; I love magnets, lasers, and fire. What can I say? :)
