Heading on up to the upper portion of the temple. Notice the faces of the pharaoh are feminine but they are wearing the fake beard. Even a female pharaoh had to observe protocol.

BTW--I am not being rude by ignoring the Egyptian caretakers. They are looking for a handout and trying to be "helpful" in order to get a tip. Sort of like the guys who come up to you in traffic and start washing your windshield with some dirty spray-bottle and newspaper. Most of the tourists were constantly trying to dodge these guys as they can be quite annoying. At the same time you have to understand that they are poor and times in Egypt are tougher than ever. 

I gave out lots of tips everywhere I went, but I preferred to give them to those who were courteous and respectful rather than the rude, pushy ones. Egypt is a tipping culture and if you visit you should budget plenty of extra money per day to hand out tips everywhere you go. Footage recorded on June 13, 2012.
