Track 3 - The Way - Passion Model EP - Eldre [FUN FACT before we get to the meaning! Every single sound in the instrumental of this song is from a single guitar, even the drum beat. I edited, compressed, and EQ'd every sound until the goal was achieved. Then I wrote the lyrics to reflect the natural atmosphere of the track. Now to the meaning...] Eventually, we all manage to come to our senses. Once you're "Fearless" and see Colorblind for too long, eventually the color comes back and you start to feel just how cold it is - how cold you are. This becomes a wake up call (hence the almost phone call sounding effect during the chorus) when you're reminded of your roots. Keep in mind this song is yet too a fashion statement, but it is extremely self aware and is actually leading yourself and others to a place of victory. In Walkers, I claim to know the way, which is true. But I neglect the way, and never say "This IS the way" until this track, where I realize fully focusing on the right things, truly chasing God, is the way I'd always want myself and others to go. Still, as this EP is nowhere near the end of the story, neither is this song. Because of the uncertainty many of us face even when we know exactly where to go, we still, just in this little EP, have one more season to change into. ~LYRICS are too many characters for the description in this one LOL - I will post a picture of them on Twitter @thedrerock.
