Tuttle has taught at Monte Vista Elementary School for over 20 years, where he helped install and maintain services for families in need, such as a school-based food and clothing bank. He wants to improve education for everyone in New Mexico, and understands how current trends for accountability need additional consideration.

Tuttle is a 2013 Golden Apple Award recipient. He will share ideas for curriculum improvement and teacher pay, accountability, and other conversations in education, which you can read more about at tomorrowtrees.com and librelibros.org.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
