The Lunar New Year painting, also evolved from the gate gods. 
However the location to paste of these paintings changed from the gates to the walls. 
The images on the paintings also changed from Gate Gods to historical and the mythical figures. 
The traditional lunar New Year's painting is plank from topography and changed annually. 
Today the Lunar New Year painting is combined with the calendars, 
so they are artistic as well as practical. 

“年画” 也是从门神演变而来的。
不过张贴的位置从大门上转到了墙上等其他地方。
画的内容也从门神转变为历史、神话故事等。
传统的年画是木板套印的，一年一换。
而现在的许多年画，已经与年历合为一体，
既美观又实用。
