The Dutch ministry of defense has organized a large international parachuting exercise. 1,000 soldiers from eight different countries (including Great Britain, France, Italy, Poland and the United States) are participating in the 'Falcon Leap' exercise, which commemorates the Market Garden operation from September 1944, when more than 2,000 British and Polish parachutists landed in Ginkelse Heide, aiming to liberate the Netherlands from the Nazis.
