Dropping In Polaris Robot Vacuum 2018

Originally recorded May 26, 2018. It was time for the first run of robot, the Polaris vacuum. His name is pronounced "rah-baht" because of something that happened back in the early 1980's on Mr. Wizard's World, where he had an original IBM PC with speech capability. The technology wasn't there yet, so even though the word "robot" was entered, it was pronounced "rah-baht". The name stuck. Anyway, robot is instrumental in helping me get the pool cleaned up, because not only does he pick up leaves, but also stirs up the water just by going by. That kicks up a lot of the algae and other particulate matter on the bottom into suspension, where it is later filtered away. As clean and clear as the pool looks, there's still quite a bit of settled material.
