How did the Universe form? Will it last forever? This course tries to answer these questions and many more, providing a comprehensive overview of the objects and events beyond the Earth's atmosphere and the Earth itself, as a planetary member of the Solar System. We'll explore the Sun, the planets, the many other objects found in the Solar System, stars and galaxies, dark matter, dark energy, the fate of the universe, and the possibility of extraterrestrial life.
