16-year-old Madeline explores the purpose of life through her experience on tall ships. She shares her insights on teamwork, leadership, and goal setting, and encourages all of us to join in on the journey to find ourselves. Madeline Abbott has been an avid sailor since she was 12. At 16, she is here to share some of her experiences, specifically how sailing has helped her become who she is now. Madeline sails on tall ships, large sailing vessels. Madeline has used what she has learned on tall ships to deal with problems in every day life. Madeline now studies at Trinity College School, a boarding school in Canada. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at http://ted.com/tedx
