The tomatoes are starting to produce and the deer seem to be leaving my beans and other plants alone.  I did see a squash vine borer moth but it was laying eggs at the base of my cucumber plants....odd.  The experimental shore garden looks like it's working so maybe next year add a couple hundred feet of tilled strips by the water for extra food production.
