CSX Train O031 is a work train that has been laying down new ties all along the tracks from Hyde Park and moving north. At this point, they have finished Hyde Park, moved through Staatsburg, and are now working on dropping ties in Rhinecliff. Here, we see O031 moving back north through Germantown, as it heads back to Selkirk, due to that fact that the crew has worked long enough that if they were to stay longer, they would outlaw. Today's consist is SD40-2 8825 with 7 ancient gondola cars, most of them ex-NYC and PRR, holding the ties, and a ramp car holding a back-hoe with SD50-2 2485 on the rear.
