Check out how we made a raised garden bed on a budget! These blocks from Home Depot worked out great and were also quick and easy to install. They will be reusable for many years which is a great attribute to have! We bought 2x6s instead of some 2x12s because the price turned out to be cheaper at the time and it worked fine in the blocks but if you are just joining the edges together without using blocks then I would recommend using 2x12 boards for your raised garden bed instead. Be sure that you place stakes or a post at the middle of your raised bed to stop the boards from bowing, like I said we can also use this to grow peas in the future!
