It's time for the 4th edition of the djTLMtv Saturday Super Session! Download the beat and record your own scratch video to be part of this global scratch session. https://soundcloud.com/djtlm/sss4-beat-saturday-super-session-4 Your deadline is AUGUST 24th. All submissions must be in before that day! DON'T BE LATE! MAKE SURE YOU FOLLOW ALL GUIDELINES! READ THE RULES CAREFULLY! 1 - Send your download link to [email protected] 2 - The subject of your mail must be: SSS4, your DJ name, your city and your country. For instance: "SSS4 DJ TLM (Amsterdam, The Netherlands). Make sure all the info is in the subject or I will not accept the submission. 3 - You will receive a confirmation mail within 3 days. If you do not receive an email, it means I did NOT see your email so please send it again. 4 - Your video must be recorded in landscape mode. If you do not know what this means, google it! If the video is recorded in portrait mode I will not accept it. 5 - The beat has the following structure: 1 bar build-up, 8 bars, 8 bars, 8 bars. Choose one of the 8 bars parts for your scratching. Record no more than 8 bars! If you scratch longer than 8 bars I will not accept the video. 6 - You can use any of the sounds from the djTLMtv scratch tools. You can find them here: soundcloud.com/djtlm/sets/djtlmtv-scratch-tutorial-beats 7 - You do not have to be a pro. Anyone is welcome to enter, but be honest. Do you have enough skills that you would want the world to see? It's ok if you can only do the basic scratches, but make sure you can really do those scratches. If I feel your skills are not up to par yet I will not add your submission to the session. 8 - Make sure your audio is useable. If you can record the audio separately it would be best, but if you have to record the audio with your camera, please check your levels. The audio can't be too loud and shouldn't be too soft either. Also check the balance between the beat and the scratches. The scratches must be loud enough, but (of course) not too loud either. If the audio is not good enough I can not use your submission. 9 - Do NOT change the tempo of the beat. It must play at 0. Not faster, not slower! 10 - Do NOT add any effects or text to your video! I will add your name in the edit. 11 - Name your video: SSS4, your DJ name, city and country. For instance: "SSS4 DJ TLM (Amsterdam, The Netherlands) 12 - MP4 or MOV files are preferred.
