PART I: Playtime with Zeppole, the amazing jaunty walking balloon doggy adopted from the 5th annual Meet the Breeds. Many thanks to the fine, friendly folks at A&P for bringing him to life via helium for free! He is the danged CUTEST THING. The way he walks, and how he jumps up on your leg or "clings" to you the way regular dogs often do (static, I assume, but his actions/reactions seem so realistic that I'm convinced he's filled with not just helium, but a spirit as well...!) Ahh, so awesome. X-} (Other name suggestions: Zeppelin, Zephyr, Bally, Breezy, Blimpy, Crawdad, Prawn, Hindenburg...) Jack the Beagle is, for whatever strange reason, the only other dog who understands Zeppole's realness. He's literally afraid, leaping backward and running when Zep moves, then coming in to tentatively sniff him nose-to-nose AND at the rear when Zep's still. PART II: 7:52. Meet The Breeds V photos! Many lovely pooches and purrers of all kinds, and other wondrous sights to behold in NYC...such as Farrah the scarf dog (a schnuggling Porta-Poodle made in Little Ferry, whose fuchsia fleece scarf I now realize happens to match a couple sweaters of mine to a T) and mad other merch, goodies, and stuff o' mine that appeared this past excellent weekend. PART III: 11:03. Some indoor Halloween décor & random pics of amazingly awesome stuff from very recently. 8D Luffin' it all. (Note: "Sugar Grape" should really read "Apple Stars." I totally love Sugar Grape, too... Sadly, I can't identify these beautiful songs with much specificity; the tracks come from a trio of Chinese- and Japanese-language CDs my grandma picked up. She works in the local high school, and the CDs had been left behind in a backpack. They were never claimed, so she eventually gave them to me at the end of the year. All 3 became instant favorites of mine, right alongside my Gundam Wing & mini Japanese Pokemon CDs (the "Rivals" one & the Team Rocket one)—the songs are incredible, and there's even a gorgeous Chinese version of "My Heart Will Go On!" *U* I also remember a fourth CD with a crystal music box or perfume bottle on the cover, with lovely instrumental music (including one tune I recognized but could never place)--but alas, I no longer have that one. =[ Or my beloved Team Rocket disc, come to think of it...! :O Anyway, all I know for sure is that one disc is called "Waiting for Fang to Sing" (Stella Chang being the singer's actual name, apparently. And aurgh, would I kill for her voice or what?!?
