In this incredibly moving performance and talk, Edward, a talented young musician, explains the critical importance of music in his life. Faced with bullying and escalating physical tics in High School, Edward found happiness in music. A moving and mature talk with a universal message about finding the thing that brings you personal joy to help face life's challenges. If ever there was a reason to keep teaching music in schools- this is it! Edward is a Junior in High School. He has been playing classical trumpet since third grade, along with the Euphonium. In 2018, he received the top high school trumpet score in New England. He participates in several music festivals each year, and hopes to study Genetics and Music in college.
