Harting ix Industrial is a smaller, more robust interface for Ethernet and other high-speed interfaces. The interface is designed with contacts and shielding that support Cat 6A transmission for data rates up to 10 Gbit/s, and supports PoE and PoE+ voltage and current levels while occupying 70% less space than RJ45 connectors, allowing designers to reduce PCB size or fit more ports in the same footprint.
