First competitive outing since surgery!

He was awesome! I think I had a slight death wish entering arena eventing having not jumped since the clear round 5 weeks before - hence only jumping the 1m class and aiming for a steady pootle - and I clipped him that morning, too, having put it off all winter due to his weight loss. So I had a rather fresh pony! We had a bit of a bronc in the warmup when we started jumping, and some braking issues (I'm still only riding him in a snaffle since his op), but considering all the factors that were against us 5 months ago I am over the moon with his recovery... Let's hope 2013 is a bit more successful for us! :) Oh, we came 5th btw :)
