This is the second recording (I had thought it was the second, at the time, but a previous recording had been successful) that we were able to make of our shining OLED. It consisted of ITO, Alq3, and Aluminum. By now we had riddled the electrodes with so many holes (by touching and poking them with our probes -- yes, I am the guilty one) that it was hard to get the device working.

Thank God I measured the resistivities of the ITO and the contacts, today, or else I would not have even thought of applying ridiculously high voltages to get the light, in the first place. The 400 volts that I initially put in gave light, but blew out part of an Aluminium electrode. After that I tried, and got, light at 100V. This video was taken with the application of 30V.

Diba and I conducted this experiment.
