Hiking the Middle Fork Willamette Trail pt. 3- On April 29, 2017 my friend Tabitha and I hiked the 3rd part of the Middle Fork Willamette Trail (from Big Pines Opening to Sacandaga Campground). This trail is almost 30 miles long, so I have been hiking it in sections. I did the first section back in November 2016, and the second part in February 2016 (see links below). This section of the trail is awesome and different from parts 1 and 2. It amazes me how different each section of this river are!!!
