Dozens of Chechen families are suing Russia before the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg. They are the relatives of victims of the Chechen War,and they want justice at long last.Theyre winning their fight - Moscow loses almost every case. The judges in Strasbourg impose fines of up to 100,000 euros. The Russian government is under pressure. So now it wants to pass its own compensation law in order to stop the flood of lawsuits in Strasbourg.
