In a major relief for Kerala, for the first time since August 9, the red alert has been withdrawn from all 14 districts of the state. Meanwhile, eleven districts are still on orange alert. Also, the water in most areas has started receding. However, the weather forecast for Ernakulam, Pathanamthitta and Alappuzha districts predicted heavy rains at isolated places.
