hello lovelies,
this month I realized, again, something I'm constantly forgetting: that in every circumstance there are multiple things to see. but what I focus on is up to me. in quiet times, in months of waiting, or on days full of company, it's my choice what I take out.
is it light? am I seeing the many things to be thankful for? am I staying present to fully register what beauty is all around me? or am I always wishing for what I don't have?
when life doesn't play out as expected, I often get caught up in my own plans and anticipation instead of enjoying what's in front of my eyes. so this month I appreciated what I could find in any given day. or I tried to. the days full of loud laughter and the days spent in only my own company. this month I tried to take every opportunity, any opportunity that came my way. I tried seeing all the uncontrollable things as opportunities to choose my reaction. fear and fuzziness? or wise open eyes and a taste for magic. 
then i found that my happiness often lies in the simple decision to let go.
