Up for sale we have some beautiful Spotted Silver Dollars. The fish you receive will be unsexed and approximately 1" in size. These fish max out at 5" in length. They are native to the Brazilian Amazon where they inhabit densely planted river tributaries so you should do your best to replicate this in your setup. These Silver Dollars are avid plant eaters so you may consider placing artificial plants such as fabric such as silk. They are best kept in groups of at least 5 in a 55 gallon tank. They are generally a peaceful species that are great for community set ups. The best tank mates are plecos or peaceful catfish that inhabit the bottom of the tank such as The Ocellated Synodontis.
