Part one of my review of Universal Soldier: The Return(1999) starring Jean-Claude Van Damme, Michael Jai White, Xander Berkeley, Justin Lazard, Kiana Tom, Heidi Schanz, Daniel von Bargen, James Black, Karis Paige Bryant, and Bill Goldberg. Directed by Mic Rodgers. Trivia The role of Romeo was originally intended for WWF wrestler "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. When S.E.T.H. cracks his kill-code, it flashes up on the screen, starting with "NCC1701", which is the registration code of the starship Enterprise. In the scene where Bill Goldberg's character Romeo tears his shirt off and starts to fight with the security guards, he uses one of his signature wrestling moves, the spear.
