Cooking a couple of steaks on my Rocket Stove. This was a test, not only for the palate, but to see how my Rocket Stove performed. It worked nicely and as intended, using very little firewood, it cooked the steaks without a problem. This Rocket Stove is just a prototype, I am already planning and designing ( in my head ) the next version which will be made of thicker gauge metal in order to withstand the heat generated by the combustion process, for longer shelf life and long term use. My plan is to make it out of a Propane (LPG) Cylinder. I reckon the ideal size would be a 9kg Gas Cylinder. I will need to buy an electric Arc Welder, but that is ok, it will be fun to tinker and tanker in my shed with this tool. I hope you enjoy the video and I apologize for the loss of shot as I was trying to film and cook at the same time, hot oil was flying all over the place and I did not realize I started to drift to the left.... :D Give us a Thumbs up or make a comment if you liked the video.
