Congress has alleged that 300 liters of fragrance was used in river Ganga ahead of France President Emmanuel Macron’s visit. The party says the use of fragrance has harmed the marine life in the river. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron took boat ride along the ghats of Ganga on March 13. Their ride started from the famous Assi Ghat in Varanasi and culminated at the historic Dashashwamedh Ghat.
