Making a rustic succulent pot / planter from a log

I received this succulent from a friend a few months ago and I never replanted it which probably harmed it's growth, so now I decided to make a little bit bigger pot / planter so it can grow a little better. I wanted to make it look rustic. The planter is made from a walnut log and its been drying for about a year. Turned it on the lathe and used a draw knife for taking the bark off. The forstner bits I have are not sharp it seems so I used a spade bit which worked perfectly. Thanks for watching! Subscribe for more!
