The SABC Board Chairperson Professor Mbulayeni Maghuve has resigned. Mughuve who was the only remaining member of the embattled SABC Board has tendered his resignation to President Jacob Zuma. He has been widely criticised for his handling of the SABC affairs. He has since appeared before the Parliamentary Committee probing the board's fitness to hold office.
