Meanwhile up in the heavens, a giant planet named Melancholia has emerged from behind the sun and appears to be on a collision course with the earth. Danish director Lars Von Trier has described this mesmerising follow-up to his shocking 'Anitchrist' as "a beautiful movie about the end of the world".
