We were told to visit a place called 'Castle Farms' because it was a neat place. We didn't look it up on google or even see what it was all about. We wrote down the address and looked it up on the GPS. We had no clue what this place was or what to expect. I didn't expect a castle to be there, that's for sure - I just figured it was a random term they used to brand themselves. Turned out to be a really neat place. Beautiful architecture, landscaping, and also many antiques to browse through. Totally worth the visit! http://castlefarms.com/ We also briefly drove past the Mushroom Houses of Charlevoix. An architect by the name of Earl Young created a series of homes in the area. All of the locals told us that it was a 'must-see'. We never stopped or went inside or anything (which it something that you can do). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Earl_Young_%28architect%29 Lastly, we visited the Charlevoix South Pier Lighthouse. Awesome place to visit. The water around the lighthouse was stunningly clear. I have never seen anything so clear! Definitely worth the stop, if you are in the area. Also, there is a beach right there to play in during the summer months.
