Sixteen da:ns Challenge provides young street dancers the opportunity to learn from established international artists, develop fresh ideas and form new friendships through a series of workshops and rehearsals, which culminates in a high energy showcase at What’s Your Move?.

Joining this year’s group of guest choreographers and dancers are renowned masters (FirstLady, Lilstar, Younggreen of Lock‘N’lol; Apple Yang and Abby Gou* of Sinostage; and Lip J), who will select dancers to form three crews that they will work closely with over the course of the programme.

Selected dancers will be mentored by the guest choreographers over 16 hours of rehearsals (four hours over four consecutive days), which will culminate in a performance at da:ns festival’s What’s Your Move? stage on 13 Oct 2018, Sat.
